Feeling nostalgic...

... no not really. Just searched my old CDRs and found a couple of tracks from the year 2000. I was into all that guitar sound (still am). Fear Factory, Sepultura, Type O Negative, My Dying Bride where all my heroes. Then I discovered Fatboy Slim (yes I know!) and Sven Väth. I mean was Sven Väth even still active when I discovered him? I'm a bit slow on some matters...
It seems like I have always been using samples from other peoples work. Even if back in the day I didn't even know what a sample is.
Anyway here are two tracks from that time:

It was so much fun making these without decent soft and hardware and without any idea what I am doing. I almost started to feel nostalgic typing this. But then again I neither have decent soft and hardware now nor do I have any idea what I am doing.

New update available

I am not so sure yet if it is right to call this a "new track". Rather a new update.
I was sick the last couple of days, locked at home. Spring is coming, it's getting warm, people are taking of their clothes. Enough reasons for this "thing" to happen. Anyway you can download the thing that happened here or in the download section where the original music is.
Great to have a choice isn't it?

Cease and Desist

Seems like I finally succeeded at offending someone! Am I the new Danger Mouse?
Not quite... The C'n'D was just about the picture with the bear for "Gypsy".
It's author basicly told me that:


  1. the man on the picture is not a gypsy

  2. the track sucks

  3. I should ask before I use his material

  4. he's ready to start a flame war or even to

  5. go to a higher instance


Points 1, 2 and 3 I already knew but thanks for reminding me. The amusing part are points 4 and 5.
Do I look like I care? I mean take a closer look at this site. Do you really think that I care about flame wars or court?

Sometimes some people are really pissing me off. Of course I will remove any material if the owner tells me to do so. I am not dumb and I have a certain sense of ethics. I know that an author may not want to be associated with everything but please don't teach me. It is enough to tell me 3 words: "take it off" and it's off. Don't waste your energy to threaten me and to teach me. It's a self-respect thing because stealing and copying might as well be recognition.

Your relationship with your art proves whether you are small and miserable and make your art just to feel special or if you make it because of the higher power of art per se. Because it's forcing you to create it and you create it just so that it can exist for itself.

Aggro1 vs. Soundwasta

I've been bootleged! And by nobody less than the man - Aggro1. Now if I enjoy mash-ups lately it's just because of his stuff. His tracks have balls and filth. That's why I love them. And he seems to have endless creative energy.

New Track - Gypsy

In the same mood as "Malfunction" maybe. Don't know. You tell me.
This is one of those tracks where you have a rough idea. You start making it and it works. Than you start thinking "wait this can't be everything" and start to tweak and improve and tweak and improve but it just gets worse... Whenever this happens I think to myself that I'd better stop and just upload the bugger but then I continue to think and tweak with my headphones till my brain starts to hurt and I start to hate the track. Then usually I just leave it in a dark corner to rot.
This time I feel so free. It's a good feeling to just let go. "It'll be fine just let it go..." I put my headphones down. Click the red X on my Reason, fire up the ftp and click on the little arrow. The data packages are on their way as I'm typing this and I feel glad knowing that tonight I'm gonna fall asleep and this freeking track won't wake me up telling me to finnish it.

"You are finnished! Get lost! Now they'll download you and if you're lucky they'll like you. If not at least i'll have my peace and will never ever think of you!"

CutePHP is cool!

Ok now the site really is entirely functional.
Thanx to CutePHP. It's a really cool tool for news administration and it's offering me even more features than i need at the moment.
To have features is nice but to have "news" is even better. As i don't have any that might concern you, i'd better shut up now and you keep on downloading.
One last thing - i really need to credit Paranoid Android (bass player from All Of Us) for helping me with the CSS of the site. He gave me very useful tricks and tips and this thing would not be online without him.

My new baby is learning to walk...

The site is not entirely up and functional. Sorry about that. I really had the good will but what i lack is time... On the other hand this can mean only one thing - it can just get better.
This design will probably be tuned and changed here and there. In a new "skins" section i will add some more designs for you to choose from. This will happen probably in the year 2016.
